We have an experienced team of three dentists who are all committed to providing our patients with the highest quality of care.
Dr Arrif Lalani is the dental advisor for the Kingston vocational training scheme at Kingston Hospital as well as the dental tutor for South West London, responsible for the postgraduate education and organising the curriculum for dental courses in all subjects. He has been a member of the Local Dental Committee, as well as the Secretary of the British Dental Association, Kingston branch.
Dr Arrif Lalani qualified from University College Hospital and from Guys Dental Hospital in 1984 before going on to achieve an MSc in peridontics in 1992. He began his training in dental implants in 1994 attending Ashok Sethi’s course. He has since gone on to complete a week in Boston at the Bicon headquarters and a ten-day training course in Shrewsbury. He is currently undertaking a four-year diploma in implantology at the Eastman Dental Centre.
I have been placing implants for over 10 years and use mainly DIO Implants. My aim for this clinic is to provide Implants that are affordable (we provide the best value for money treatment anywhere in London and the surrounds), long lasting and bring confidence to those patients who find missing teeth and embarrassment and a problem with eating.
When I have the time outside of work I enjoy yoga, dancing, singing in the local church choir and of course playing the guitar!
My name is Mehroze, but most will know me as Mez, and I have been at Maple Dental Practice since 2005. I qualified from the University of Birmingham. I have since undertaken courses in intravenous sedation, root canal therapy, CEREC and invisible orthodontics.
I have a holistic and caring approach to dentistry and my patients, and have a lot of experience working with very nervous patients. My focus is towards education, maintenance and prevention.
I am a bit of a geek when it comes to technology, cars and motorbikes, but seem to spend most of my free time enjoying good food (and then working it off).

Vipul is dual certified in Dentistry & Medicine. He qualified in Dental Surgery from the Sheffield School of Clinical Dentistry in 2000 and then with Distinctions and Prizes from St George's Hospital Medical School in 2005. He then spent several years training in London teaching hospitals gaining vast experience in Emergency and General Medicine, General and Trauma Surgery, and Head and Neck Surgery.
Vipul returned to Dentistry and specialised in Implant Surgery after completing his 4-year training programme at the world renowned Eastman Dental Institute, University College London. He is also unique in being a member of both the Royal College of Surgeons of England and the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. He has been successfully placing and restoring implants since 2007.
Vipul has lectured locally and nationally to all members of the oral healthcare team in primary and secondary care since 2008 in the management of medical emergencies. He is a long standing member of the St George's Medical School interview selection team for prospective medical student applications. Until recently he was a Clinical Teacher in Oral Surgery at the Sheffield School of Clinical Dentistry.
Due to his breadth and depth of clinical and surgical experience Vipul provides an unparalleled and unique level of care to his patients. He prides on achieving a balance of exceptional surgery delivered through evidence based academic principals. He has been working at Maple Dental Practice since 2014 but he and Arrif have experience of joint specialist clinical care since 2007.
His main interests outside of work (and what keeps him grounded) is simply his two children, cooking (& of course eating!) and cars (the faster the better!).

I graduated from the University of Birmingham in 2007 and have been working in general dentistry since qualifying. I have recently become interested in treating anxious patients and I am currently studying Special Care Dentistry at Eastman Dental Hospital in London. I will soon be qualified to provide sedation for patients who require it.
I joined Maple Dental Practice in January 2016. The team here are wonderful to work with and the practice ethos fits well with the way that I like to see and treat patients.
When I am not practicing dentistry, I love to knit and crochet. I am a keen baker and an active member of my local Women’s Institute branch.
